The Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre brings the first full-service hotel to the Owings Mills area. Opened in 2021, the boutique hotel boasts 229 rooms, a 6,700-SF ballroom with capacity for 1,200 people, a 4,400-SF outdoor terrace, multiple board rooms for corporate functions, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and an on-site upscale restaurant. Located within the Owings Mills Metro Centre mixed-use development, the hotel provides guests direct access to the Baltimore Metro and extensive retail, dining, and corporate facilities. Totaling 225,000 SF, the new hotel included designs for a lobby bar and lounge, a pool, a 2,300-SF office mezzanine, kitchen and restaurant spaces, and a 17,000-SF basement with mechanical equipment and storage.
CEI provided full structural designs for the new Marriott Hotel, as well as multiple other buildings at Owings Mills Metro Centre, including two multi-story apartment complexes, two parking garages, two office buildings, and a 120,000-SF academic facility.
