Opened in 2014, the Baltimore Horseshoe Casino is the second largest casino in the state. The $400 million venue, which includes the 2-story casino and adjoining parking garage, features upscale and casual dining, entertainment spaces, and a 122,000-SF gaming floor with more than 2,000 slots, 153 table games, and the exclusive, high-limit gambling room, The Oriole Palace. The composite, steel-framed structure included designs for several outdoor terraces, the 20,000-SF Baltimore Marketplace showcasing local restaurants and bars, and a pedestrian bridge connecting to the adjacent garage. Working under an aggressive design and construction schedule, our team provided full structural designs for the 250,000-SF, LEED Gold casino building.
