Towson Reservoir

Client:  Baltimore City DPW
Location:  Baltimore County, MD

CEI supplied structural engineering services during the post-award construction phase of this important reconstruction of the 16 million gallon Towson Reservoir. Project was constructed in two phases: West Basin then East Basin. Our staff reviewed shop drawings for pre-cast and cast-in-place reinforced concrete structures. CEI coordinated with Baltimore County DPW when one manhole needed to be extended to a height beyond the County standards. Our staff visited the field on a regular basis to verify and comment on structural issues. CEI prepared field report on the installation of the West Basin double-T top slabs.
