Patuxent Institution Building DC & DD
 

Site:  MCI Patuxent Institution, Jessup
Client:  Maryland Department of Public Safety & Corrections
Location:  Howard County, MD

CEI completed a structural physical condition assessment and upgrade designs for installation of a life safety system for multi-story Buildings DC and DD. Our staff coordinated with the project architect and mechanical engineer to analyze wall/floor cut-outs and reinforcement, egress stairs/landings/ramps, MEP equipment supports and corridor capacity to support the sprinkler piping. CEI coordinated the water service building foundation wall penetrations and designed a fire pump equipment concrete vault.
