Correctional Facilities

Maryland State Police Barrack X
 

Site:  Princess Anne along Route 13
Client:  DGS/DPSCS
Location:  Somerset County, MD

CEI completed structural designs for a 9,200 square foot barrack; 3,300 square foot garage and communication tower foundation on a 4-acre site adjacent to the Maryland Eastern Correctional Institute. Both the barracks and garage buildings were supported on standard spread footings. CEI utilized pre-engineered metal roof trusses with steel beams and columns to support this correctional facility located west of Maryland Route 13.
