CEI provided structural designs and coordination with building supplier for a one-story, L-shaped pre-engineered building for the new Maryland Correctional Enterprises Upholstery Plant (MCEUP). The building measured approximately 100 feet wide and 250 feet long. Our staff reviewed the soil report and designed a standard concrete footing that extended five feet through the existing fill material. Top of footing elevation and anchor bolts were determined from building supplier's information. CEI also prepared structural plans and details for a loading dock canopy, a handicap accessible ramp, connection into existing hallway and renovations of existing building tie-ins.
