Jones Falls Pumping Station Rehabilitation

Location:  Baltimore City, MD

CEI provided a variety of structural engineering services during the rehabilitation of Jones Falls Pumping Station including a structural condition assessment detailing necessary upgrades to flood proof the station. CEI prepared a report describing recommended upgrade designs and preliminary costs. Structural designs were completed to install flood doors, window flood proofing and masonry in-fills. CEI modified the wet well area and control room, designed reinforced pump support pads and prepared demolition details of the CMU wall to house three horizontal pumps instead of existing vertical pump layout.
