Health Care for The Homeless
 

Site:  Hillen & Fallsway, Baltimore
Client:  RECMP, LLC
Location:  Baltimore City, MD

CEI completed structural engineering services for a 56,639 gross square foot medical clinic located partially in a flood plain. Because of this, CEI designed a concrete superstructure for the first floor founded on grade beams and piers to obtain a finish floor elevation of 22.5' along with an exterior 30 foot long metal handicap accessible ramp with a standard turndown concrete footing. Our staff documented these cost effective structural designs as part of the LEED Gold Certification that achieved 40 total points.
