CEI completed structural designs to renovate the Denton Dining Hall, which was constructed in 1963, along with upgrade/expansion of the rear loading dock area. Other designs included renovation details for door widening lintels, floor/wall penetrations, RTU equipment framing, evaluation and reinforcement of the existing roof framing to support a green roof, HVAC equipment supports, exterior transformer reinforced concrete pad, recessed floor slab for refrigerator units, load-bearing wall modifications and new entrance canopies. CEI visited field on regular basis to verify J. Vincent Shafer's progress and approve draw requests.
