Back River Wastewater Treatment Plant (Secondary Clarifiers)

Client:  Baltimore City Department of Public Works
Location:  Baltimore County, MD

CEI provided a variety of inspection, engineering support and construction administration services to upgrade 12 secondary clarifiers at the Back River Wastewater Treatment Plant. CEI visited field with Prime Engineer - Dewberry - and inspected the concrete slabs, concrete walls, steel bridges, platforms, scum troughs, railings, stairs and entrance walkways. CEI prepared 12 clarifier drawings specifying the crack and spall locations, recommended field core test locations and concrete surfaces upgrade design recommendations.
