West Shore Park
Site: Baltimore City Inner Harbor
Client: Baltimore City Department of Recreation & Parks
Location: Baltimore City, MDCEI completed a variety of services to transform a grassy field in between the Visitor and Science Center into a large multi-use lawn area for concerts and events, park pavilions, horticultural gardens, sitting areas and a future fountain. CEI designed water, storm drain and sanitary utility services for peak site development. Our staff coordinated with City Department of Transportation to create the adjacent roadway and bus drop-off area. The proposed 2.5-acre park area extended into an existing parking meter area, which needed to be relocated to another area. CEI connected pedestrian traffic through the site in a series of walkways.
