Salisbury University - Nanticoke Hall Renovation

Newly renovated in 2011, Salisbury University's Nanticoke Hall is a three-story dormitory that houses more than 150 students. When the residence hall showed a need for updating in 2009, Salisbury personnel chose CEI to complete site improvement designs. Renovations included a new entrance lobby, a new elevator and a three-story, forty-foot addition to the hall's north end. Our staff began the project by researching existing campus utilities to accurately locate proposed additions, including a water quality cistern and geothermal field under the adjacent parking lot. CEI designed grading, walkway realignment, parking lot revisions, trenching for the hydronic pipe system, stormwater management, and MDE-approved erosion & sediment control plans.
