Metropolitan Transition Center
 

Site:  MTC G Building Loading Dock
Client:  Maryland Department of Public Safety & Correctional Services
Location:  Baltimore City, MD

CEI prepared site demolition plans for the removal of the existing outdated loading dock that served the central kitchen facility in Building G, then designed a 4-bay loading dock within the same footprint. Part of the loading dock structure spanned an existing utility tunnel. CEI researched existing utility record plans to avoid conflicts with excavation and existing structural footings, then prepared site plan for the loading dock layout, roadway circulation, pavement details and existing/proposed security fencing requirements.
