CEI provided civil engineering services for a 2 story, 16,000 gross square foot addition to the MdTA Key Highway Administration Building to house security personnel and records. Our staff coordinated with Baltimore City DPW to determine the exact easement location over a 96" diameter water supply pipe under the addition. CEI then coordinated with JMT, Prime Engineer, and MdTA representatives to locate the addition, 12-vehicle parking area, service drive, utility services, relocated MTA bus stop and storm drainage devices. CEI prepared a report for the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Commission documenting the flow rate of an over-designed swale leading from the parking lot to satisfy the 10% pollute removal requirement. CEI also prepared stormwater management and erosion/sediment control packages for MDE approval.
