MSD Elementary School & Family Intervention Center
Site: MSD Frederick Campus
Client: Maryland School for the Deaf
Location: Frederick County, MDMaryland School for the Deaf purchased the former 32-acre Loates Farm and redeveloped the site for a new elementary school/family intervention center complex. CEI evaluated the sloped terrain and assisted in the efficient location of buildings, parking areas, roadways, athletic fields, bio-retention swale, stormwater management pond and dedicated tree conservation areas. Our services included full civil/site design, MDE/DNR permitting, City of Fredrick utility connections, SHA coordination of new entrance and construction administration.
