MCTC Steamline Replacement
Site: Maryland Correctional Training Center, Hagerstown
Client: Maryland Department of Public Safety & Correctional Services
Location: Washington County, MDCEI completed civil/site engineering services to support the installation of 1,500 linear feet of steam and condensate lines that served 14 existing buildings inside the security fencing. This important utility service upgrade project required MDE Permitting, trenching/backfill operations, surface restoration, interior security zone fencing, project phasing, escort requirements and coordination with mechanical engineer, Kibart. CEI prepared an existing utility composite plan based on site utility locator results, record drawings and field observations that formed the basis of all site plans.
