Civil Engineering
Our civil engineering department provides site development services such as planning, zoning, grading, storm water management, utilities, erosion/sediment control, roadways, walkways, parking, and traffic circulation. CEI leads a client through each project phase promptly and efficiently. Our civil engineers have experience in both large and small projects throughout the region successfully receiving timely permit approvals. Our staff has been trained to address current new stormwater management environmental site design (ESD) planning techniques and treatment practices along with the most current erosion/sediment control regulations. We also address the more critical pollutant run-off requirements for Chesapeake Bay Critical Area sites, MDE/COE Joint Permit Applications, and NPDES Permit Applications.

• NPDES ApplicationsOur civil engineers and designers utilize the Civil 3D software portion of Autodesk in a Windows XP environment. We also utilize Industry Standard Hydraulic Computation Software such as HEC-RAS, TR-20 and TR-55. We have developed an extensive Detail Library to efficiently meet project schedules. All project files are stored on data servers with a redundant back-up system.
