2100 Guilford Avenue Parole Office
Site: 301 W. Preston Street
Client: Maryland Department of General Services
Location: Baltimore City, MDCEI provided civil engineering services for the renovation and addition to the existing Department of Probation & Parole facility. Due to funding allocations, the project was completed in four phases over several years. This urban site presented several unique challenges for CEI's services related to demolition, utilities, grading, paving, erosion/sediment control and stormwater management. The site design reflected the various phases and had to account for interim grading and utilities. The early phases required that the site be designed around existing buildings that would be demolished in later phases. As a result, multiple submittals were required to MDE for ESC review.
