Abbottson / Stadium School Building
Site: Abbottson/Stadium Elementary School
Client: Baltimore City Public Schools
Location: Baltimore City, MDCEI completed civil/site designs to renovate and subdivide the 71,000 square foot facility into two separate schools to satisfy the educational program. Our civil design included improvements to the existing bituminous parking and playground pavement, concrete sidewalk repairs, pedestrian ramps, reconfigured parking spaces, tot lot playgrounds, handicap accessibility, two main entrances and a concrete entrance off of Gorsuch Avenue into the visitor parking area. CEI prepared water service plan for a new City Developer's Agreement and prepared utility plan and profile for revised storm drain lines. CEI was hired as a prime consultant after the construction NTP and directed the Contractor to repair unknown breaks in the storm drain system, provide new bituminous surfaces and basketball court goals and markings.
